A fight against COVID
COVID has been affecting our
lifestyle ever since it started, businesses shutting down, schools closing, healthcare
workers being more in demand, and everyone getting locked inside their homes.
After almost months of paranoia, we finally have little hope to fight against
the virus, vaccines are now being produced and everyone is encouraged o get
vaccinated.
You might have some questions
what are vaccines? Are the COVID-19 vaccines safe? First of all a vaccine stimulates
your immune system to recognize and fight diseases, and they're usually given
as needle injections. Vaccines are critical because they aid in the prevention
of communicable, serious, and lethal diseases such as COVID-19. A COVID-19
vaccine is a vaccination that is designed to provide COVID-19 acquired
immunity. Work to produce a vaccine against the coronavirus diseases SARS and
MERS had established knowledge about the structure and function of
coronaviruses before to the COVID-19 pandemic, which boosted development of
various technology platforms for a COVID-19 vaccine during early 2020.
So, is COVID-19 safe? The COVID-19 vaccinations that have been licensed have
performed the appropriate clinical trials and have been found to be safe and
effective. And if there is evidence of mild to severe adverse effects, the more
serious side effects are uncommon. Vaccination strengthens our immunity to the
Corona Virus and helps to reduce cases in specific areas of the Philippines
(and other countries), allowing us to go out more. This also indicates that in
some parts of the Philippines, face-to-face classes will be permitted soon.
Children can benefit from face-to-face education since it improves their mental
health. Because of this everyone is encouraged to take the vaccine, not only to
help protect yourselves but also other people around you.
I like that this blog is super informative on the safety of vaccines! ^^
