My Year: Reflections on the third quarter

 

The School year is soon coming to an end, this past eight weeks may have been stressful, frustrating and annoying, despite all the setbacks I still thoroughly enjoyed this year’s lessons. Although the lessons were fun, I wouldn’t say it’s easy, after all nothing in this life is easy, only hardships.

 

For this quarter’s ICT lessons, it’s about research, and I am not happy about this, although it is far easier than our normal research subject as we are able to choose between categories. Despite this, I am so tried of research, and I don’t write want to write essays upon essays. Although I am quite glad it isn’t as complicated as our main research subject and we can use an easier method for conducting research. For my research, me and my groupmates conducted a research on tourism, it is quite a fun experience, we learned many things upon researching the place. I loved the history behind calle Crisologo and the love story that saved Vigan from being bomb during WWII.

 

The challenges for this topic is my motivation and conflict of schedules, as the quarters pass by, I’ve been less motivated to attend classes and do my modules, despite the lack of it, I still have to push through in order to finish it on time. I often find myself getting tired, and having no time to sleep or do my hobbies. There’s also conflict of schedules, due to being home most of the time, I have added responsibilities of taking care of the home, cooking food for me and my sister, helping my sister with her lessons and I have taken up a job as freelance artist. Due to this my time is quite packed and I may find myself being up till 3 am.
